Mid-Century Modern Bentwood Blonde Console Table Writing Desk by Thonet, United States, c.1960’s

This Thonet Desk would look exceptional while displayed in a Mid-Century inspired interior. The rectangle laminated top offers a spacious writing surface, accompanied by a single storage drawer which is nicely recessed within the desks frame. The drawer opens and closes as it should and is embellished with a contrasting brushed steel pull. The sides and back are finished in a beech wood veneer with original satin finish. The ply legs are nicely sculpted, showing Thonet’s iconic bentwood process. The legs of the table will be removed during transport. The inside drawer shows the original Thonet label.
