Vintage Brass Sunburst Birds in Flight Wall Sculpture by William Friedle, c. Mid 20th Century
This Wall Sculpture pairs nicely with many Mid-Century & Eclectic interior styles. The oval shaped sunburst is accompanied by an array of dimensional birds in flight – It’s a mild brutalist piece which pairs (or contrasts) nicely on most wall colors. The brass is finished in an original gold gilding. This sculpture arrives ready to hang, the backside brackets floats the piece off the wall, it’s a unique look. This piece is unsigned or marked.
Condition Report:
Mild tarnishing and patina to the finish can be seen from age. The birds can be shaped to your desired, they’ll easily bend to shape/style. The sunburst rods can also be bent to shape for more or less dimension. There aren’t any repairs shown – It was kept hung for the majority of its life.
