An American Empire Piano Storage Bench, circa 1900. This Bench was crafted of mahogany displaying a drastic grain throughout. This Bench is exceptionally sturdy and could be used daily. The large hinged top lifts up to reveal storage space within, a top rest has since been added to support the top while ajar. The carved side column legs offer an eclectic look to a traditional style. The finish likely isn’t original to this piece, although it shows age. Overall, this piece is in very nice condition with mild wear shown. Wear includes surface scratches and finish blemishes.
