This Empire Library Table Desk was crafted during the Late 19th Century. This piece would compliment an Office Space as a Desk – or used in a Great Room as a Library Table. It’s stunning lines and drastic quatersawn oak grain makes this a versatile piece for an array of interior styles. It’s curved styled legs are always a favorite and commonly found in Empire pieces alike. The bottom foot rest is great if you’re using it as an office desk, but also adds a great look if kept as a table. The single middle drawer offers a nice amount of storage space, the drawer opens and closes as it should. The drawer from is embellished with two brass pulls, they aren’t original to the piece, but suits it nicely. This piece was professionally refinished at some point in its life, it was very well done! You will find mild surface scratches and blemishes to the finish, although nothing major. The Desk stands exceptionally sturdy and would easily support a large amount of weight added.
