An Art Deco Bronze Grape Handle Bowl by Cerl Sorensen, c.1930. This Bowl would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. This bowl displays Sorensen’s iconic verdigris patina finish, which contrasts perfectly off the raw bronze shown in select areas. This Bowl captures an Arts & Crafts transitional design which merges seamlessly with Art Deco, it’s truly a great piece. The heavily detailed grape & vine handles is a nice touch to the design. It makes for the perfect fruit bowl along a countertop, or decorative bowl along a server. This Bowl displays the expert level of bronze metal crafting, just as you’d expect from a signed Sorensen piece, especially seen in early Tiffany pieces while Sorensen worked as a designer. The underside of the bowl is signed.
