An Art Deco Mahogany Mirrored Shelf Sideboard, United States, c. Early 20th Century. This Monumental Sized Sideboard would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. The overall design of the piece suits a dining setting, entryway, or even used as a liquor or wine bar. The solid mahogany is finished in a drastic wood veneer with inlays shown along the face of each drawer and door. The drawers open and close as they should and are faced with brass knob pulls, which were replaced at a later date. A small pull out leather top garnishing board is shown below the top surface – This is a nice touch. The Satin Faced storage doors along each side of the bottom includes a contrasting brass grate front. A pair of double doors between this area leads you to additional storage space, an original key is included to lock each door. The 3 panel mirrored top offers a tremendous amount of open display space. The backside of the piece is unmarked or signed.
