This Pair of Art Deco Industrial Bar Stools were crafted during the 1930’s. These Stools have great lines and were exceptionally well made. This Pair came out of one of Scranton Pennsylvania’s oldest and most popular Diner “Chicks” – Lots of history! Each base is extremely heavy and is made of iron, at some point in their life, they were painted green. Each side is removable and freely rotates 360 degrees. The solid walnut frame offers a drastic grain and contrasts off the green perfectly. The vinyl material top isn’t original and could easily be replaced. The green seat tops lift off the walnut frame to rewrap. This Pair has aged nicely, although you will find wear including chips, cracks and blems as shown. Each stool is very sturdy, they would make a great project or used as they stand.
