An Arts & Crafts Mahogany Smoking Stand with Humidor by HT Cushman, United States, c.1920. This Smoking Stand would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. This tasteful Gentleman’s accent piece is absolutely timeless and includes an assortment of great features. The solid mahogany shows a drastic grain throughout accompanied by a deep original finish. The top surface of the Stand includes a hammered cast iron removable ashtray, match holder, pack holder and a cutter. The bottom shelf includes a solid bronze tobacco humidor with lid as well as a revolving area to display a decanter or bottle. Each side of the piece shows 3 holes to display pipes. The large storage door below offers tremendous open storage with an added modernized latch to keep the door shut. The underside of the Stand is marked HT Cushman.
Condition:
This Smoking Stand was exceptionally well made, it’s both solid and sturdy. Mild surface scratches, finish blemishes and wear is shown throughout, although this piece is in good condition.
