This is undoubtedly one of the better Arts & Crafts Bookcases that we’ve have the pleasure to Showcase! The Bookcase would make a versatile piece for an array of interior styles. This piece is crafted of solid oak with the sheer craftsmanship you’d expect out of a 1920’s Arts & Crafts Movement piece. The oak grain is drastic and shows an aged deep finish – Very stunning. The large double doors includes the original glass panels, which are in very nice condition. Each door opens and closes as they should and is embellished with an aged brass escutcheon pull (there is no key included). Within the interior, you’ll enjoy an array of storage space for books or a collection alike. The solid oak shelves offers exceptional support, all of which stand perfectly straight. The single mirrored panel adds an eye catching appearance, this is the original mirrored glass, its in very nice condition. Throughout the piece you’ll notice surface scratches, minor chips and finish blemishes. The top of the piece has a heavy patina finish, it truly shows its age nicely.
