An Arts & Crafts Quartersawn Oak Glass Front Bookcase, United States, c.1920. This Bookcase would look exceptional while on display in an array of interior styles. The solid oak shows an aged deep finish, some areas of the piece shows a quartersawn grain more than others. The full glass front appears to be the original glass. The interior of the piece shows 3 oak shelves, all of which are height adjustable. A key is included to lock the entry door. This piece stands on handsome styled legs without caster wheels. This piece is unsigned or marked.
Condition:
This piece was exceptionally well made, its very solid and sturdy. Mild surface scratches, finish blemishes and chips are shown, it shows its age nicely. There aren’t any cracks or chips shown in the glass.
