There’s nothing better to compliment an Estates Fireplace like an Antique Andiron Screen. This Andiron style if often refereed to as a “Fence Screen” or “Gate”, very popular in in the upper North East circa 1920’s. This piece is crafted of brass, with an aged patina finish. Slight tarnishing is found on the brass, and it hasn’t been cleaned or polished, in order to keep its originality. This is a 59 inch wide Andiron, which would go great with most sized Fireplaces. This is a free standing unit, and balances nicely because of its design. You can also fasten to the piece to the base of your fireplace stone, there are holes going around for a brass screw.
