A great piece to compliment any estates library or office. This Secretary is crafted of solid mahogany, with a veneered finish. The three stacked bottom drawers are large in size, and are very clean on the inside. Each drawer opens and closes as it should and is faced with styled bat wing brass pulls, all of which match and are original to the piece. The drop front area lowers and rests on 2 retracting arms that supports the writing area. Within, you’ll enjoy a large amount of writing space, as well as enough area to use a laptop while open. An array of different sized cubbies are great for storage, as well as the 2 small accessory drawers. The drop down area has its original lock and brass lined keyhole, unfortunately we do not have the key to lock it. This is a very sturdy Secretary and heavy in weight, it was very well made.
