A Victorian Carved Oak Etagere Bookshelf Stand, United States, c. Early 20th Century. This Bookshelf would look exceptional while on display in an array of interior styles. The solid oak shows a drastic grain throughout, accompanied by a deep aged finish. The three tiers of shelves offers a generous amount of storage space for books, indoor plants, trinkets or a collection alike. Each shelf includes a traditional carved motif skirt and backrest, the very top shelf shows the most drastic of carvings, which includes a foliage pattern and beading. The side members are nicely sculpted and flows seamlessly into the legs for great support. The piece is unsigned or marked.
