An English Regency Brass Fireplace Footman, United Kingdom, c.1890. This piece would compliment an array of fireplace styles – It adds so much character. The solid brass is aged nicely, some areas showing heavy patina and surface scratches. The double twist handles on each side makes carrying this weighted piece easy. Traditional turned back legs compliment the drastic front claw feet nicely. The top of the piece, along with the front and back shows a stunning floral-like motif. Overall, this piece is in very nice condition for its age with mild wear shown. The underside is marked W&P.
