An English Traditional Turned Beech Wood Plant Stand Pedestal, c. Early 20th Century. This Pedestal would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. The solid beech wood shows a drastic grain throughout, accompanied by a deep satin finish. This finish pairs nicely with many period pieces, perfect for staging. The 14″ round top could display a piece of art pottery, urn, jardiniere or sculpture. The stem of the pedestal shows a sensational turned beaded motif, which flows nicely into the pedestals raised square base. The underside of the Pedestal is unsigned or marked.
