This is undoubtedly one of the better Victorian Chest of Drawers that we’ve have the pleasure of Showcasing! The piece is exceptionally versatile and compliments an array of interior styles. This Chest of Drawers is crafted of solid oak with a drastic quartersawn grain throughout; It displays quality craftsmanship you’d expect to find in a Late 19th Century piece. The deep finish shows its age nicely, you’ll find patina throughout as well as surface scratches, minor chips and blemishes. This piece offers storage at its best with five large drawers, all of which open and close as they should. Each drawer is faced with raised paneling and embellished with Northwind Face brass pulls for an eclectic look. The pulls on the bottom drawer are different, although true to its era. The piece does not include the key to lock the drawers and three drawers is missing the lock mechanism. The top surface of the dresser offer additional display storage and shows stunning beveled edges. At one time, a small mirror or rail ran along back, you’ll notice a difference in the finish where this once was.
