A monumental piece worth designing a room around! Display this piece as a Sideboard in a dining area, or as a Foyer Hutch! This Late 19th Century Sideboard is hand crafted of solid walnut, with a drastic grain throughout. The piece was refinished at some point in the pieces life, although it was not done recently as the finish is rich in patina. You’ll enjoy hand carved details, carved motif’s and double lion’s head door fronts. This is a 2 piece unit, the top tier lifts off the cabinet for transport. There is some water damage to the wood on the top tier, luckily this is a tall piece and isn’t visible unless looking down onto it, this does not compromise how sturdy the shelf is. The cabinet features a double door locking storage area with the original key included and two top drawers which are embellished with aged brass pulls. As this piece is in good shape for its age, you will find wear including surface scratches, minor chips and finish blems.
