An Oak J&P Coats Spool Cabinet, c. Late 19th Century. This Spool Cabinet would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. The solid oak shows a drastic grain throughout, accompanied by a rich satin finish. The finish is nicely aged and shows great character. Each drawer includes the original lacquered front labels as well as brass knobs which were replaced at some point – The knobs suits the piece well. Each drawer opens and closes as it should and shows jointed construction. The interior of each drawer is clean and sectioned.
