A Farmhouse Oak Raised Panel Flour Bin Bar Cabinet, c. Early 20th Century. This Cabinet would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. The solid oak shows a drastic grain throughout, accompanied by a deep satin finish. This piece was originally a Flour Bin, which was used as a liquor bar in its previous estate. The hinged top includes a brass push button latch, and opens and closes as it should – A brass chain was added to prevent hyper extending the hinge, and support it in the “upright” position. The interior shows clean open storage, the bottom of the piece was removed and a thick piece of oak was added for shallow storage. Each side of the piece shows stunning raised panel, the quality of craftsmanship is great. The backside is unsigned or marked.
