A Pair of Farmhouse Rush Seat Chairs, United States, c.1840. Considering the age of this Pair, they’re exceptionally solid and do not wobble. Each chair is crafted of solid wood, likely maple. Throughout, you’ll enjoy stenciled motifs accompanied by a stunning woven rush seat on each. The seats were redone, likely during the mid 20th century. Each chair is unsigned or marked.

Each Chair shows appropriate wear and patina throughout. Each chair would support the weight of an adult and do not wobble
