A Set of 6 Farmhouse Victorian Quartersawn Oak Dining Chairs, United States, c. Early 20th Century. This Set of 6 Dining Chairs would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. Each chair is crafted of solid oak, showing a drastic quatersawn grain throughout. The set is finished in an aged satin finish which compliments the grain nicely. The Set was both refinished and reupholstered professionally in 1973, the original upholstery label is shown along the bottom side of each chair. The needlepoint upholstery is stunning, is shows vibrant colors, accompanied by lovely floral motifs on an ivory backing – It truly contrasts nicely off the oak finish. The set includes one arm chair along with 5 unarmed chairs. The legs of each chair shows a detailed paw foot motif. This Set is unsigned or marked.
