Antique French Empire Bronze Fountain Pen Rest Inkwell

A French Empire Bronze Fountain Pen Rest Inkwell, c. Early 20th Century. This Inkwell would look exceptional while displayed upon an array of desk styles. The solid bronze shows sensational cast details, it’s rich in age with a patina finish. The hinged inkwell top pivots as it should, the interior does not include a glass ink cup. The inkwell is nicely detailed, adding timeless flare to the overall design. The arched pen rest is spacious with plenty of open display. The underside of the Inkwell is marked “France”.

Condition:

This Inkwell is in overall good condition. Tarnishing and patina is shown to the finish, it’s nicely aged. The original glass ink cup within the inkwell is not included.
