A monumental piece and the perfect focal point of a master suite or foyer. This is what’s refereed to as an Antique Reproduction. This piece was skillfully crafted in Egypt, using only the highest end exotic burl veneers, hardwood and cast brass hardware. Chances are, most who view this piece in person would never guess it was a 20th Century Reproduction. This is a four piece unit, every part of this piece is extremely heavy. The two side doors will lead you into a large storage area with a hanging pole for coats. The large beveled mirror door will offer additional open storage space. This door is so thick and heavy that the hinges do not support the door correctly. The hinges will either need to be reinforced or replaced if you intend to use the middle door on a daily basis. It does open and close, although once open, you’ll have to lift the door slightly to match up with the frame to close it. Once closed, its perfectly fine. The burl walnut veneer finish is drastic and eye catching from every angle its viewed from. You’ll enjoy Fruit Wood Inlays throughout, which really contrasts nicely off the burl walnut. You will find wear on the finish, including surface scratches, veneer chips and blems.
