Antique French Victorian Carved Parlor Settee & Chair Set

This Exceptional Parlor Set came out of a large estate in Long Island, which housed some of the finest French pieces we’ve seen in a while! Both the Settee and Chair are matching, carved of solid walnut and show a drastic grain throughout. The upholstery is a high quality fabric which shows a soft cream base with a green, orange and red floral motif. The upholstery it’s original to the piece, although it was professionally redone at some point in the pieces life. You will find freys in the fabric and small areas with split lining, although there aren’t any major rips or tear that aren’t shown in our photo gallery. The pieces are sturdy for their age and holds the support of an adult without any issues. Small repairs could be found on the piece along with mild wear on the finish from age.
