An Arts & Crafts 4 Stack Barrister Bookcase by Globe Wernicke, United States, c.1900. This Barrister is expertly crafted, we’d expect nothing less of quality by Globe. This barrister features 2 different size sections, the inside of each side is listed below. The order of each section can be changed to your desire. The oak grain shows a deep finish, it shows its age nicely, some areas show a patina finish. This bookcase breaks down into 6 pieces, Top Cover, 4 sections and the base. The glass appears to be original and is in great condition without any cracks or movement. Each sections door opens and closes as it should and includes the original hardware and aged brass knobs. Overall, this Barrister is in very nice condition, mild wear is shown from age and includes surface scratches, chips and blemishes. One section shows a crack on the side, this is circled in our photo gallery to reference.
