A Quartersawn Oak 2-Drawer Card Catalog Library Cabinet by Globe Wernicke, c. Early 20th Century. This Library Cabinet would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. The solid oak shows a drastic grain throughout, accompanied by an original satin finish. The 2 Card Catalog Drawers open and close as they should, each are faced with cast iron name plate pulls. The interior of each drawer shows dovetailed construction and includes the original adjustable depth rest. The piece shows the original Globe Wernicke label along the front of the Cabinet.
