This exceptional Antique Victorian Throne Lounge Chair would look stunning in an estate furnished with other antique pieces. This chair is crafted of solid oak, and shows a drastic grain throughout. It appears at some point in the chairs life, it was refinished, although it was not refinished recently – The chairs finish shows a timeless amount of patina and wear which gives the chair a rich look. The Gothic “Pick-its” on each side of the throne adds that iconic Gothic Victorian look that everyone loves. The backrest features a nicely carved floral motif, which really adds a drastic look. The upholstery is a evergreen suede and does not show any rips or tears, it’s in very nice condition. The chair does have a repair on each of the legs, although the repairs must have been professionally done, because this chair is as sturdy as ever. Once you’re sitting in this chair, you do not want to get it, it does not creak or wobble.
