Envision this piece on display in an estates grand entryway or in a home library! This table is carved of solid mahogany, with a drastic grain throughout. From top to bottom, this piece is heavily carved, showing a detailed floral motif on each side of the table and styled bottom support arms which end with a carved platform setting. This table is extremely sturdy, solid and supports its full cerrera marble top just fine. The marble is beveled throughout and is in very nice shape, without any cracks or chips. Slight discoloration could be seen in small areas, although it’s nothing major. From the looks of the finish, it appears the piece has been professionally refinished at some point in the pieces life, although it was not done recently. Surface scratches will be found in areas of this table, although it’s in very nice condition.
