A Renaissance Revival Ebonized Tall Back Inlay Chair, Italy, c. 1880. This chair shows stunning details throughout, it was crafted in Milan during the Late 19th Century. The chairs solid walnut construction makes this piece exceptionally sturdy and solid. The finish is ebonized yet shows it’s grain nicely. You’ll enjoy stunning bone inlay motifs throughout. The backrest shows a male figure holding a eagle head sword, the gentleman shows brass accenting which contrasts nicely. This chair shows exceptional carved details throughout. The underside is unmarked or signed.
