A Large Bronze Tiger Statue on Wooden Base, Japan, c.1900. This Meiji Period Bronze Statue shows exceptional details throughout. The piece measures 14″ at its widest points and is very heavy. The statue is not attached to the wooden base and could be displayed with or without. The base likely isn’t original but true to its origin, it suits the statue well. The bronze shows a deep aged finish. The underside of unmarked or signed.
Condition:
This piece is in very good condition, mild surface scratches could be seen on the wooden base from age.
