An Arts & Crafts Quartersawn Oak Ottoman by L&JG Stickley, c.1914-1917. This Stickley Ottoman is crafted of solid oak with a drastic quartersawn grain shown. The deep satin finish pairs nicely with many Arts & Crafts Movement designer pieces. The cushioned top was professionally reupholstered using an Arts & Crafts motif textile of a very high quality. The blue and green desaturated hues plays off the oak nicely, creating good contrast. The inside of one of the legs shows the original L&JG Stickley label.
