Antique Mahogany Victorian Rococo Turtle Top Accent Two Tier Table with Brass Ormolu

This finely crafted 1920’s Victorian Accent Table is unique by design and would look stunning in a well-furnished estate. The mahogany grain is drastic throughout, and features a deep finish. While in direct or natural lighting, it gives off a red mahogany glow which is very eye catching. The double tier design is very unique for a Turtle Top Table, each edge of the table includes mahogany spindles, which attaches the bottom tier to the table top. One spindle is missing, although it does not compromise the tables weight limit. The Queen Anne style legs look great and include brass ormolu accenting that are nailed in place. All ormolu mounts are in good condition and have aged nicely, although some nails are missing. The table is sturdy and could very well support a heavy table lamp, along with some books on the bottom tier. Wear is to be expected from age, including surface scratches, minor chips and finish blems.
