This Curio Cabinet was crafted by Berkey and Gay in the 1930’s. The piece displays sheer quality and craftsmanship that you’d expected in a signed Berkey & Gay piece. This particular Cabinet was apart of a short run of lighter wood pieces by the company. You’ll appreciate the drastic wood grain accompanied by burled curly maple veneer along the top crown and bottom drawer front. The drawer opens and closes as it should, and includes aged brass pulls. The inside of the drawer was painted white, and you’ll notice the original Berkey & Gay logo on the drawer side. Within the 2 original glass doors, you have 2 removable shelves, which offer a tremendous amount of storage space. The doors lock and unlock with a key included. This piece is very sturdy and heavy in weight. Our photos are taken in natural direct lighting to show off any wear to the piece. You’ll notice surface scratches and finish blems, as well as small chipped areas of veneer as shown.
