A Pine Letterpress Catalog File Cabinet by Hamilton Mfg, United States, c. Early 20th Century. This Cabinet would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. This particular Letterpress Printers Cabinet shows 84 pigeon hole storage areas, all of different sizes, heights and depths. The solid pine shows a drastic grain throughout accompanied by a deep original finish. This piece was used in a Letterpress Printers Studio, it’s not only aged, it’s character tells a story. The Hamilton metal label is shown along the bottom of the piece.
Condition:
This Letterpress Cabinet was exceptionally well made, it’s solid, sturdy and heavy without any wobble. This piece shows close to 100 years of age to the finish along with areas of dried ink and patina from use. Mild wear is shown which includes surface scratches and minor chips.
