Antique Primitive Farmhouse Pennsylvania Pine Dovetailed Dough Box Table

A Farmhouse Pine Dough Box Table, United States, c. Late 19th Century. This Dough Box would look exceptional while displayed in a Farmhouse inspired interior. The solid pine shows a drastic grain throughout accompanied by a deep finish. The removable top leads you into a tremendous storage hull with a perforated bottom for air flow. The sides of the Dough Box shows Early American Dovetails and peg construction, it’s quite stunning. The splayed legs adds character, they also show pegged construction on each side. The underside of the piece is unsigned or marked.

Condition:

This Dough Box Table was exceptionally well made, it’s solid and sturdy without any wobble. The piece was refinished at some point in its life, although it was not done in recent years, it shows nice age. Scratches, finishes blemishes and minor chips are shown.
