Picture this Antique Quarter Sawn Oak Secretary in an estates great room, or library. This Secretary has an exceptionally large drop front writing area, which is sturdy enough for everyday use, or with a laptop. Within, there’s plenty of storage cubbies, all in different sizes. The double glass doors leads you to 1 removable oak shelf with a painted terracotta shade inner area. There’s additional storage inside of the drawer and double doors beneath. This is a solid oak piece and is heavy in weight, this piece was truly made to last! The tiger oak grain looks absolutely stunning and the finish shines great. This piece was most likely refinished at some point in the pieces life. The piece does not have its original hardware and was replaced with antique style pulls, knobs and keyholes. The keyholes were also filled in when the piece was refinished, there is no way to lock the drop front area or drawer. This piece does show signs of wear which includes scratches, chips and blems, although its in good presentable condition.
