A Quartersawn Oak Card Catalog File Cabinet Box by Globe Wernicke, United States, c.1940. This Card Catalog File Box would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. The solid oak shows a drastic grain throughout accompanied by a golden original finish. The double drawer design is faced with solid brass tag holder pulls, each drawer opens and closes as it should. The interior of the drawer include the original dark green adjustable back stops and rods. Between each drawer shows the Globe Wernicke monogram stamp along the top.
