During the turn of the 19th century, Cook was manufacturing some of the best quality reclining “morris” chairs. Many of S.A Cook pieces include the carved lion and griffin hand rests, very eye catching! This piece is crafted of solid oak, the finish was gone over with to mimic an oak grain, and you will find scratches and finish blems. Our photos are taken in direct natural lighting to show off the wear as clear as possible. Most is hard to be seen in indoor settings. The chair does include its original casters, all of which spin but show its age and can easily be removed. The back reclining bracket works as it should and offers ideal back pitches for relaxing or reading. The original S.A Cook label is shown on the backrest.
The bottom and back cushions aren’t included and would measure as following: Back 29 tall x 19 wide , bottom 21 square.
Dimensions:
27 wide x 43 tall x 29.5 deep
