A Pair of Traditional Cast Brass Western Pioneer Horse Carriage Bookends, c. Early 20th Century. This Pair of Bookends would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. Each Bookend is crafted of solid brass and is finished in an original copper lacquer. The lacquer is nicely aged, offering sensational contrast while on display. The pair would support a generous stack of books, both large or small. Each Bookend shows Western Motif, including a horse drawn carriage within a landscape in high relief. The back and underside of the Pair is unsigned or marked.
