A Traditional Quartersawn Oak Bookcase Shelf, c. Early 20th Century. This Bookcase would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. The solid oak shows a drastic grain throughout, accompanied by a deep satin finish. This finish pairs nicely with many Period style pieces. The multi-board top surface includes a turned gable back splash, it’s quite stunning. The interior shows 2 solid oak height adjustable shelves, each shelf would support a generous amount of weight. A primitive wainscot back can be enjoyed from the front, as well as raised panels along each side. The backside of the piece is unsigned or marked.
