A Traditional Farmhouse Walnut Carved Footstool Ottoman, c. Late 19th Century. This Footstool would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. The solid walnut shows a drastic grain throughout, accompanied by a deep satin finish. This finish pairs nicely with many period style pieces – Perfect for staging. The cushioned top was professionally reupholstered in a pebbled black vinyl. This vinyl is of the highest quality and durability, it looks and feels like genuine leather. The Footstools sculpted sides and accompanied by turned handles with exposed dowel construction – It’s quite stunning. The underside is unmarked, although early penciled literature can be seen.
