A Traditional Mahogany Drop Leaf Pembroke Occasional Table, c. Late 19th Century. This Table would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. The solid mahogany shows a drastic grain throughout, accompanied by a deep satin finish. This finish pairs nicely with many period style pieces. The 9″ wide drop leafs operate as they should, they’re supported by early wedge mechanisms. The two accessory drawers open and close as they should, they show early American dovetailed construction. Each drawer is faced with aged brass pulls, which offer sensational contrasted while paired with the mahogany. The column stem adds lovely dimension to the overall design. This Table is unsigned or marked.
