A Traditional Quartersawn Oak Library Bankers Desk Chair by Milwaukee Chair Company, c.1920. This Chair would look exceptional while staged in an array of library or office styles. The solid oak shows a drastic quartersawn grain throughout, accompanied by a deep satin finish. This finish pairs nicely with many period styles, including designer Arts & Crafts Movement pieces. The Chair shows its original Swivel and Tilt cast iron mechanism along the underside, each function is fully tested and works as it should. The Chair stands on vintage urethane casters, each rolls smoothly across a level surface. The back of the chair shows the original Milwaukee Chair Company Label.
