A Traditional Victorian Quartersawn Oak Parlor Side Table, c. Early 20th Century. This Table would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. The solid oak shows a drastic quartersawn grain throughout, accompanied by a deep satin finish. The 14″ square top is perfect to display a jardiniere with plants or decorative urn. A carved motif is shown along the sides of the top, it’s both nicely detailed and fine in quality. The hand turned legs adds a great look, along with an additional storage shelf bottom. The underside of the Table is unsigned or marked.
Condition:
This Table was exceptionally well made, it’s both solid and sturdy. A series of solid repairs were done along the legs, most notably where the storage shelf meets the leg. We’ve circled this area in our photo gallery to reference.
