A Victorian Bentwood Cane Seat Swivel Library Chair, c. Early 20th Century. This Chair would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. The solid beech wood shows a drastic grain throughout, accompanied by a satin finish. The bentwood backrest is truly amazing and unique by design, it shows sensational lines. The round cane topped seat is redone in a synthetic cane for longevity, it offers nice contrast while paired with the Beech Wood. The styled legs adds a nice look, with original caster wheels – Each of the casters roll smoothly. The swivel mechanism rotates 360 degrees as it should and is height adjustable for different size desks. The underside of the Chair is unsigned or marked.
