A Set of 3 Victorian Mahogany Parlor Chairs and Settee, United States, c.1920. This Parlor Set would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. This set consists of an Arm Chair, Single Chair and Settee Sofa, all crafted of solid mahogany. Each piece is finished in a drastic flame mahogany veneer, which a stunning deep finish. The arms of the chair and settee are nicely styled, showing scrolled arm rests. The backrest of each piece has great support and shows a lovely carved motif on each side. The set was professionally reupholstered at some point during the late 20th century. The textile used is of a very high quality and shows a vivid floral motif, it suits the set nicely and would compliment many interior styles. The front legs of each chair shows heavily carved Victorian claw feet – They’re absolutely stunning. The underside of each piece is unsigned or marked.
