A Set of 4 Victorian Carved Walnut Savonarola Parlor Chairs, c. Early 20th Century. This Set of Chairs would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. Each Chair is crafted of solid walnut, showing a drastic grain throughout, accompanied by an original satin finish. The Set includes 2 Savonarola Arms Chairs, and 2 Side Chairs – All in a matching fashion. Each Chair shows its original vinyl upholstery in a contrasting burnt red. This color plays nicely off the Walnut. The backrests shows a lovely carved motif, which flows seamlessly into the arms and legs of each chair. The underside of each chair shows its original manufactures label from The Karges Furniture Company. To this day, the company crafts high end – hand crafted pieces.
