A Victorian Cast Iron Fountain Pen Inkwell, c. Early 20th Century. This Inkwell would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. The Cast Iron shows sensational details and motifs throughout, it’s finished in an original bronze lacquer. The top is hinged and opens and closes as it should, within rests the original glass ink cup. The ink cup is free of cracks or chips, but shows residue from timeless use. The underside of the Inkwell is unsigned or marked.
Condition:
This Inkwell is in overall good condition. Mild surface scratches are shown to the finish from age.
