This Tri-Fold Traveling Mirror was skillfully crafted during the Late 19th Century. Built for the true Gentleman, it’s the perfect travel essential for shaving, or used as a wall hanger a like. The hinged sides allows the piece open into a 3-way mirrored display, each side opens and closes as it should. The three beveled mercury glass mirrors are original to this piece, and only shows mild silverloss on one panel – This is very common with age, we’d say the mirrors are in very nice condition. The outside of each mirrored panel displays a stunning embossed carved motif, this feels exceptionally premium while holding. Once opened, the mirror stands on its own, and includes 3 brass ball feet. The original brass hanging chain with hoop is a nice touch, great for transporting the mirror, or hanging it on the wall. The solid rosewood frame displays a deep grain, it contrasts off the piece nicely overall. Mild wear is shown to the finish which include surface scratches.
