**SOLD**
An eclectic piece at its best, which would look great in an estates library, filled with antiquarian books. This Victorian Bookcase has 2 large glass doors which leads to a tremendous amount of storage space. Each side sports 4 height adjustable shelves, with additional storage drawers below. Both glass doors has the original brass Victorian handles with built in escutcheons, as well as the matching period drawer pulls beneath. All are rich in age and are uncleaned/polished. The top of this piece displays a drastic carved motif, and the entire piece is on its original antique casters for easy transport around your estate. This bookcase was most likely refinished at some point in the pieces life, although if it was, it was not done recently. This piece does show expected wear which includes surface scratches, minor chips and blems. The glass does not have any cracks or chips. This is a very sturdy and heavy piece, ready to last another 100 years!
